The Obamas Visit
On May 17th, 2008, then Presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle visited Prince Puckler's Ice Cream on an ice cream kind of day. Although the visit was not announced ahead of time, the neighborhood soon found out and arrived in mass. The Obamas were gracious to all, including the three lucky employees who served them. Mr. Obama had Mint Chip ice cream. Today many customers order "Obama," the unofficial name for Mint Chip.
